Colourful Bench – Confidence Building

Make a difference in schools to motivate students who are low, victims of bullying, family problems,Needs any help, counseling , guidance and also unfriended by all others in school.
As and when a student sits on the bench, it is an indicator for the school authorities to identify and reach out to the student and help them.
Here is an idea to make students feel comfortable. Everytime, Tell all students during assembly that there is a beautiful, colourful Bench in the school ground which can be used by students who have any issue with regard to the situations they face like,
- Need motivation
- Students who are feeling low,
- Victims of bullying,
- Family problems,
- Needs any help,
- Counseling ,
- Guidance and also
- Unfriended by all others in school.
All students should be told to understand the reason of sitting on the colourful Bench and try and help such students if they can.
Also Principal, Counselor, Teachers should notice and reach out the students as they see them on colourful Bench.
This will reduce agony and allow students to feel that they will be given attention and their problems will be resolved.
A real attempt to help children in school gives them lot of confidence.
Another important aspect is , school should keep the confidentiality of the problems and should never discuss with the colleagues.
This method of resolving problems of students will boost their morale and help in developing their confidence and personality.
